It is vital your character sleeps every night to maintain energy and health, although sometimes things happen and they are not able to for one reason or another. In the event that a character does not mention themselves sleeping between days, these are the rules to follow for health loss ::
If a character does not sleep or mention themselves sleeping, they will lose

This means that characters can skip a night of sleeping and be able to function. It also means they may take a potion to recover lost health during the night.
